About Me
Financial planning is my second act after a successful corporate career. My unique strength in retirement financial planning results from academic specialization as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor plus first hand knowledge and experience of planning and executing my own personal retirement. My personal retirement planning included evaluating pension options, developing a comprehensive social security strategy, comparing Medicare options, tax planning, and a very strong retirement fixed income approach.
My business model is strictly flat fee planning (no billable hours) with optional annual updates at a small fraction of most traditional assets under management (AUM) advisory fees. With a financially successful personal retirement, fees are not a high priority in my business.
Mission Statement
Optimize clients' retirement financial plans to minimize taxes, achieve a high degree of financial security, and build financial legacies.
Why I Became an Advisor
Financial planning was a hobby during my corporate career. After my retirement I wanted to continue to "work" because of my interests and my passion. I was fortunate to be able to pursue this second career because I wanted to, not because I needed to (not paying bills or buying groceries from my income).
